My work explores ideas of space in its widest meaning.

Space can be real or virtual, contained or infinite, a specific period of time or set of circumstances that make what occurs distinct. Visually the bodies of work I create can differ, but underneath there is always a metaphysical component exploring some aspect of time and reality.
I am drawn to liminal places where the land meets the sea, heterotopic spaces which are in some way 'other' and where things are not exactly as they might first appear, the temporal space of unique periods of time such as the pandemic lockdowns, and the infinite space of the mind within the finite limits of the body. I have divided my work into the categories below. Click on the image to find out more.
